Our team joined the meeting to connect with industry peers, customers, suppliers and partners, while getting a closer look at the conversations shaping chemical distribution today.

It was a good opportunity to step away from day-to-day work, meet people in person and exchange ideas across the industry.

‍

At Distil, we work across specialty chemicals, personal care, polymers and application-driven markets. We came to the meeting with experience across these markets and a focus on understanding where customers and partners are seeing new requirements and opportunities.

The meeting brought together distributors, manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals from across the chemical value chain. From familiar faces to new connections, the two days gave our team plenty of opportunities to meet, reconnect and continue conversations.

‍

The conversations covered a wide range of topics, from regulatory developments and market conditions to technology, supply chains, customer requirements and changing industry needs. Some conversations were technical, some commercial and some simply about what people are seeing in the market. Together, they gave us a useful view of where the industry is today.
