Our team joined the event to connect with manufacturers, converters, brand owners, technology providers and packaging professionals while exchanging ideas around the changing needs of the films and flexible packaging industry.

It was a great opportunity to meet industry professionals in person, explore new technologies and understand the challenges and opportunities shaping packaging today.

‍

At Distil, we work across polymers and application driven material solutions, with a focus on helping manufacturers find the right materials for their processing and performance needs. The conversations at ElitePlus gave us a closer look at developments across speciality films, flexible packaging, polymer chemistry and sustainable packaging.

The event brought together professionals from across the packaging value chain, including material suppliers, film producers, converters, recyclers, machinery providers, brand owners and technology companies. The 2026 edition brought together more than 2,380 industry leaders from 31+ countries and 121 exhibitors.

‍

Discussions covered advanced film technologies, next generation polymer chemistry, sustainable production, recycling, circularity, barrier solutions, printing and converting technologies. There were also conversations around how packaging is evolving with changing consumer expectations, regulatory requirements and the growing focus on material efficiency and sustainability.

We came away with new perspectives, new connections and plenty of conversations to continue.
