Our team joined Suppliers’ Day to connect with ingredient suppliers, formulators, cosmetic chemists, brands and industry professionals and exchange ideas around the evolving needs of the personal care market.

‍

It was a great opportunity to meet people in person, explore new ingredient technologies and understand the formulation challenges and opportunities that teams are working on today.

‍

At Distil, we work across personal care and application driven ingredient solutions, with a focus on helping formulators and product development teams find the right ingredients for their needs. The event gave us an opportunity to explore new technologies across skin care, hair care, sun care, sensory ingredients, biotechnology and sustainable formulation.

The event brought together professionals from across the beauty and personal care value chain. With hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals attending, there were plenty of opportunities to discover new ideas, reconnect with existing contacts and start new conversations.

Discussions covered new ingredient technologies, formulation trends, consumer expectations, biotechnology and innovation in personal care. Some conversations were technical and formulation focused, while others explored market needs, new opportunities and the changing direction of the beauty industry.

We came away with new perspectives, new connections and plenty of conversations to continue.
